My son is a toad lover. He is a lover of toads. He loves his toadies. See where I'm going with this? He has the 5 year old boy syndrome of catching anything that moves, to his oldest sister's utter dismay. Of course he shows her everything he catches! From dead birds to long earthworms, he's gotta show big sis!
And yes, I believe he kissed it moments after I took this shot. I told him he would get warts, of course he probably thought that would be kinda fun!
What is going on here you might ask?
He's helping daddy fix my car, of course! It was in the 90's and yet he was having a ball out there with his daddy. Learnin' how to be a man he was. My goodness, does he follow that man around.
Soon there will be two boys following their daddy in the garage. When I had an ultrasound last week, the radiologist said she was 100% sure I was having a boy....yahoo! We'll take them any way we can get them, girl or boy, but we sure are excited! We lost a son, 9 days before my due date going on 4 years ago now. We miss him so much still, and were blessed to have a little girl since then. But now, to have another little boy on the way, feels like a miracle. It really does. God has blessed us so much, and we are thankful. I can't wait to see those little men following their daddy around....
He told me today as we were climbing trees, (I don't highly recommend at 4 months pregnant cuz it's a tad awkward!), that he was going to be a great explorer when he grew up. Son, you inspire me with your sweet caring attitude, the way you work so hard with daddy, and your hope of the future....
